What kind of business owners do you work with?
I work with owners of professional service businesses generating at least $300K in annual revenue.
The people I work best with are humble, dedicated, and open to learning. They care about providing exceptional services and want to grow not just for the money — but for more freedom, stability, and success for themselves and their families.
They follow through, value honest feedback, and want experienced guidance they can trust.
What can I expect from you as my coach?
You can expect honesty, thoughtfulness, and a grounded, real-world approach – real partnership – someone who has been through it and who cares about your success and well-being. I’ve run my own business, and coached others — but I’ll never pretend to have all the answers. Every business is different, and there’s no one-size-fits-all path.
I’ll bring honest feedback, practical ideas, mindset support, and direct guidance based on real experience — not theory.
We’ll brainstorm, problem-solve, and try different approaches until we find what works best for you — your goals, your personality, and your life. I’m here to help you think clearly, stay steady, and build something that feels both successful and sustainable. I’ll show up prepared, challenge your thinking, and help you find simpler, more sustainable ways forward.
What do you expect from your clients?
I work best with business owners who are open, reflective, and committed to making things better — not just for their business, but for themselves. You don’t need to have it all figured out, but you do need to be reliable, take action, and be honest and open about what’s working and what’s not.
I’ll bring lots of thought and energy to your business — and I expect the same level of care and engagement in return.
I do this work to create great change and impact. I care a lot about who I work with — this takes commitment, hard work, and follow-through for both of us!
Logistics:
- I require completion of a brief feedback form after each session — to track growth, spot blind spots, and help keep our working relationship strong.
- Having agenda items and forethought for every coaching meeting
- Consistency and reliability in scheduling coaching appointments.
How do I know if this is the right time for coaching?
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in the weeds, or constantly questioning your next move — it’s probably the right time. You don’t need to hit a crisis point to ask for support. Coaching works best when you’re ready to step back, think clearly, and make smarter, more sustainable decisions.
Do you help with emotional or mindset issues too?
Yes — that’s a core part of what I do. I’m a trained and certified cognitive behavioral therapist, and I bring that experience and training into my coaching. Our business is highly connected to our life, that’s the reality for owners. We’ll work on both your business AND your life, if you ask me – there’s no other way it can effectively be done.
What’s the structure of the coaching?
We start with a full assessment and in-person visit. From there, you’ll get two 60-minute coaching sessions per month, focused action steps, and light check-ins between calls. Every 6 months, we’ll do an in-person strategy session to step back, reset, and level up.
Do I get unlimited access to you between calls?
No — I don’t promise constant access or ongoing email coaching. That said, I’ll be thinking about your business between sessions and bringing fresh ideas and insight each time we meet, and likely will have some follow up or homework type email contact (I won’t be able to hold back).
You’ll track questions or updates between calls so we stay focused and efficient each time we meet.
How long is the commitment?
Six months to start. After that, it’s month-to-month — no pressure, no long-term lock-in.
Do you coach outside the Bay Area?
Yes. I work with clients across the U.S. We’ll meet virtually for most sessions, and I’ll travel to you for in-person work as agreed (depending on location).
What is a professional service business?
You sell your expertise — not physical products, professional fields like:
Therapists / Counselors (LCSWs, psychologists, MFTs)
Coaches (life, executive, wellness, business)
Consultants
Financial Advisors / Planners
Accountants / Bookkeepers / CPAs
Attorneys / Small Law Firms
Marketing / Branding Professionals
Designers (graphic, web, interior)
Health & Wellness Providers (dieticians, physical therapists)
